Their & There - Confusing Words
There - is used to refer to a place

- I live there in the red building.
- There is my father.
- Do you see the red car there across the street?
Their - refers to 3rd person ownership; to show something belongs to someone or something in the 3rd person
- My friends asked me to take their car to the shop.
- Our parents are going to have their friends over for dinner tonight.
- Does everyone have their phone?
- The dogs really love their dog food.
