Just vs. Still vs. Finish vs. Already - Commonly Confusing English Words

Learn and under stand which word to use.

Just – is used when something happens very very recently

Mary just called 2 minutes ago.

Julie has just arrived a few minutes ago.

Still – is used when the action is not completed

Jeff I am still at work, I did not leave yet.

Joe is still working at the same place for over 20 years.

Finish – is used when something is complete

I finished all my dinner, now I am going to take a walk.

The girls finished all their homework; now they can go and play.

Already – is used for action that been completed sooner then you expected

The girls already did there homework; before I got home.
